Recovered Stolen Property From West Side Vehicles

We are asking any members of the public who suspect that their vehicles may have been entered and items stolen sometime overnight on Wednesday March 8th, to contact us. A youth was arrested and found in possession of items he had taken from several unlocked cars in the area of Glen Eagles Crescent. The items range in value and we are trying to get them back to their rightful owners.

Fail To Remain Motor Vehicle Collision - Can You Help?

The Midland Police Service is asking for the public's assistance with any information they can provide above a motor vehicle collision that occurred at approx 6:46PM yesterday evening (Thursday February 16th) at the intersection of Hugel Ave and Fourth Street. The vehicle is either a beige or silver SUV with major damage to the rear passenger and rear drivers side.

On Wednesday February 8th at 6PM, in Council chambers at 575 Dominion Avenue, Midland Council is hosting a public meeting where they anticipate receiving the quote from the OPP to provide policing services.

Guess how many impaired drivers were charged in Midland over the 2016 holiday season (Dec 1 - Dec 31)? It is the same as the number of beers that 95% of our impaired drivers say that they had consumed when asked...

With impaired statistics around the Province on the rise, it was refreshing to see that Midland's numbers were low... however, two impaired drivers is still two too many.

Thanks to the selfless generosity of so many in our community, this year's Cram-A-Cruiser Christmas toy and food drive in support of the Midland Salvation Army has exceeded everyone's expectations! The turn-out to our events staged on Saturdays at participating retails like Canadian Tire, Superstore, Walmart, Foodland and NoFrills was great despite some foul, yet seasonal weather.
