My insurance company told me to get a copy of a report. How much does this cost?

Insurance companies know that copies of police reports (the sections that we can release) cost money.

Most of those companies are well-acquainted with the process of ordering copies of reports from the many police services that they deal with daily.

Despite this, some companies or their agents, request that YOU buy the report from the police and submit it to them.

The choice to do so is yours. You can find all the fees on this page. However, considering the fact that you pay your insurance company a fair sum of money yearly to cover such costs (should you ever have need of them) we suggest that you turn that task back to the agent or company. They will make the request, pay the fee and you are not put out in any way.

In either case, we will happily serve either of you.
