We are asking any members of the public who suspect that their vehicles may have been entered and items stolen sometime overnight on Wednesday March 8th, to contact us. A youth was arrested and found in possession of items he had taken from several unlocked cars in the area of Glen Eagles Crescent. The items range in value and we are trying to get them back to their rightful owners. Suspected victims of theft should always contact police to report the incident. Many times the crime goes unsolved, but targeted enforcement in neighbourhoods where these crimes are reported can result in apprehension of suspects and the return of seized stolen property.
Contact Constable Whitney James or any on-duty officer if she is unavailable to make inquiries about the stolen property. If you have been the victim of a theft from your vehicle, whether you locked it or not (please lock your cars and keep valuables out of sight), contact us anytime to get the report filed.
You can reach us on our non-emergency line at (705) 526-2201 or drop by the office during regular business hours.
